“I’m A TV: Welcome Distraction Edition” finds Mae Martin embracing musical honesty with new tracks, out June 20.

Mae Martin’s newest chapter arrives June 20 with I’m A TV: Welcome Distraction Edition, a deluxe expansion of their debut music project. The release includes two fresh songs and acoustic takes of select originals—offering a more revealing layer to an already introspective body of work.

Written entirely by Mae and co-produced with Jason Crouse and Wes Marskell (The Darcys), the project leans into themes of maturity, emotional transparency, and identity. Mae, known for their work in comedy and acting, brings the same raw energy to their music—without the need for punchlines.

“A chronic oversharer,” they say. “But here, there’s no pressure to land a punchline, only space to tell the truth.”

This latest installment of I’m A TV transforms emotional disclosure into art. The acoustic versions create space to breathe, listen, and connect. The result is music that feels personal, like a conversation rather than a performance.
