Grace Potter’s 2008 album “Medicine”, produced by T Bone Burnett, finally makes its debut.

With Medicine, Grace Potter releases not just an album, but a piece of herself that’s waited over a decade to be heard. Originally recorded in 2008 with T Bone Burnett, the long-shelved project is now available through Hollywood Records.

Backed by musicians like Jim Keltner and Keefus Ciancia, the album marks a departure from Potter’s earlier roots-rock sensibilities, embracing moody, soul-baring territory. “I remember being in the studio with T Bone and feeling like this was everything I’d been waiting for,” Potter recalls.

The music carries emotional weight, a product of the moment in which it was born. Each track on Medicine reflects Potter’s introspective search for artistic truth and emotional clarity.

Recent highlights in Potter’s career — from a headline appearance in The New York Times to her a cappella performance at the Kentucky Derby — show an artist in full bloom. Medicine is a defining moment in that journey.
