“Be Still” is a moving new single from Sebastian Schub’s upcoming EP “Sing Like Madonna”, out June 6.
Sebastian Schub returns with “Be Still,” a heartfelt track pulled from his debut EP Sing Like Madonna, due June 6 via Island EMI / Capitol Records.
The single places his deep baritone at the forefront, delivering a moment of quiet reflection that serves as a powerful introduction to the emotionally rich EP.
Schub’s rise has been a journey defined by dedication. A trained opera singer turned busker, he moved from Hamburg to London to pursue acting—only to find his voice through music, shaped on street corners and in underground venues like Camden’s Spiritual Bar.
After years of live performance, Schub went viral on TikTok, a reward for his persistence and depth. His work on the EP was supported by producers Steve Fitzmaurice, Rob Kirwan, and Dann Hume, the latter of whom he calls a creative mirror.
“He does everything that I do but better… He’ll plug the guitar in and make it sound exactly the way I would want it to sound,” says Schub.
An English learner from age 15, Schub studied English Literature to improve his lyricism, reading Jane Eyre multiple times in both English and German.
With sold-out UK dates, an upcoming US tour, and a slot supporting Noah Kahan at BST Hyde Park, Schub is quickly becoming a voice to watch.
