Julian Sacheli returns with “Be Alone,” a moody, melodic solo release on Dirtybird’s 20th anniversary compilation.
After an eight-year hiatus from solo work, Julian Sacheli—Miami-based producer and co-founder of Black V Neck—returns with “Be Alone,” released on Dirtybird as part of their 20th anniversary celebration.
“Be Alone” is a thoughtfully crafted production that highlights the introspective side of Sacheli’s artistry. Blending quirky deep-tech rhythms, arpeggiated synth lines, and a reflective vocal, the track turns the experience of isolation into something cathartic and oddly comforting.
“This is my first solo release in 8 years so I’m excited and nervous at the same time! Either way I’m ecstatic to do it with Dirtybird who have been supporting me for years now,” says Sacheli.
The song follows Black V Neck’s early 2025 release “Check My Brain,” but shifts gears toward a more intimate tone. The title itself doubles as both a personal statement and a thematic thread running through the track.
Sacheli’s musical roots run deep. Exposed to house music through his father, he was DJing and producing by age 12. With Ian Beato, he formed Black V Neck in 2017, rising quickly with sets at Coachella, Ultra, and EDC.
“Be Alone” now marks the beginning of a new era—an introspective solo path that opens up fresh creative ground for Julian Sacheli.
