“The Clearing” lands August 29 as Wolf Alice embark on their biggest tour to date.
Wolf Alice step into a bold new chapter with the announcement of their fourth album The Clearing, due out August 29. The GRAMMY®-nominated group will support the record with a 20-date North American tour starting September 10 in Atlanta and wrapping in Los Angeles at The Wiltern.
The tour, which includes their largest venues ever, follows festival stops at Glastonbury and Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and leads into a European and UK leg through mid-December.
New single “Bloom Baby Bloom” kicks off the album cycle, accompanied by a theatrical video directed by Colin Solal Cardo and choreographed by Ryan Heffington. “It’s been freeing to put the guitar down and reach a point where I don’t feel like I need to prove that I’m a musician,” says Ellie Rowsell.
The Clearing was recorded in LA with producer Greg Kurstin and represents a high point for a band that’s grown with every album—from My Love Is Cool to Visions of a Life to their BRIT Award-winning Blue Weekend.
