Samara Cyn explores anxiety and distraction on her soulful, Whit Kane-produced single “Bad Brain.”

With “Bad Brain,” Samara Cyn dives into the mental noise of modern life. A lush, genre-blurring track produced by Whit Kane, the single samples Thee Sacred Souls’ “Can I Call You Rose?” to explore the anxious push-pull of thoughts, creativity, and clarity.

“The song speaks to the battle with the anxieties and distractions of life,” Samara shares. “Bad Brain” is both a personal reckoning and a sonic journey—marked by Samara’s signature blend of vulnerability and rhythmic power.

The new single follows her acclaimed debut The Drive Home, and coincides with her national tour alongside Smino. With major nods from Nas, Erykah Badu, Doechii, and Alicia Keys, Samara continues to earn respect from legends and listeners alike.
