GRAMMY-nominated duo SOFI TUKKER introduce butter with “Bread (butter version),” featuring Seu Jorge. The sensual duet flips their 2024 track “Bread” into a smooth, jazz-rooted piece that explores intimacy and cultural exchange.
Recorded in Brazil, butter is the duo’s homage to Brazilian music and includes bossa nova, MPB, bolero, samba, and other Latin styles. The album stands as a warm, analog companion to their electronic-leaning BREAD.
Reflecting on the recording, Sophie says, “He thanked me for learning his language… he has one of those once-in-a-generation voices.”
With Sophie in Portuguese and Seu Jorge in English, the track highlights SOFI TUKKER’s commitment to genuine collaboration.
