Robin Cisek shares “Escape,” her new song celebrating community support, plus a stunning visualizer.
Robin Cisek, the award-winning Métis pop artist, is back with “Escape,” a new single dedicated to the importance of supportive relationships. Out now, the track previews her forthcoming full-length album, set to arrive within the next two months.
Produced by Cisek, Brandon Unis, and Brad Simons, “Escape” is heartfelt and personal. “Sometimes I get really overwhelmed and I’m so thankful for the people that help me get a break and bring me back down to earth,” Cisek explains.
The new single builds on the success of “Play Dirty,” the lead track from her upcoming project that highlights women’s influence in music and celebrates Cisek’s growth as a producer. “I’m so proud that this project allowed me to work with an incredible group of women,” she shares.
Released alongside the track is a beautiful visualizer directed by Cisek, showcasing the creativity of Edmonton’s arts community, particularly the artwork of MAST. “Edmonton is such an artistic city,” she reflects.
Robin Cisek’s live performances will continue this summer, with dates scheduled in Edmonton and Toronto.
