“Under the Stars” is a moving piano piece by Chloe Flower that champions female voices in classical music.
Chloe Flower offers a heartfelt ode to women in composition with her latest release, “Under the Stars.” The new track—written and arranged by Chloe for piano and orchestra—is available now via Popsical Music Group, ahead of her forthcoming studio album I Love Me More, arriving May 2.
Backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, “Under the Stars” is a technically refined and emotionally stirring work that channels Chloe’s dual identity as both virtuoso and storyteller. With delicate phrasing and sweeping orchestration, she invites listeners to a reflective space beneath the night sky—while also addressing the deeper challenges of gender disparity in the classical world.
“This piece is my love letter to every woman who dreams of composing,” Chloe explains. “I’ve often felt self-doubt as a classical composer navigating a space that has been dominated by men for centuries… If even one female composer feels empowered to create after hearing this piece, I’ve accomplished what I set out to do.”
As part of I Love Me More, “Under the Stars” stands alongside Chloe’s orchestral renditions of modern classics including The Beatles’ “Yesterday” featuring Babyface and Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers.”
More than an album, I Love Me More marks the launch of Chloe’s label Popsical Music Group—a platform designed to amplify female and minority voices in classical music, distributed via The Orchard. In both artistry and advocacy, Chloe Flower is composing her most powerful movement yet.
