Jessie Reyez unveils “Psilocybin & Daisies,” her latest track from PAID IN MEMORIES, arriving March 28. Featuring an interpolation of 1979.
Jessie Reyez continues her steady rollout of new music with “Psilocybin & Daisies,” a hauntingly beautiful track from her upcoming album PAID IN MEMORIES, due March 28 via FMLY / Island Records. The song includes an interpolation of Smashing Pumpkins’ 1979 and was produced by SCUM and Warren “Oak” Felder. Accompanying the release is a live session video directed by Jon Primo, highlighting Reyez’s signature emotional intensity.
Billy Corgan praised Reyez’s unique take on his band’s classic, calling her talent “effortless and honest.” Reyez, never one to hold back, responded in true form: “Thanks to Billy for blessing me. Thanks to The Smashing Pumpkins. Thanks to mushrooms. And thanks to me.”
As PAID IN MEMORIES approaches, anticipation builds for the project, which features collaborations with Ari Lennox, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, and Miguel. Previous singles have already earned critical acclaim, with “JEANS” and “JUST LIKE THAT” making waves across streaming platforms.
Fresh off a run of international performances and two 2025 Juno nominations, Reyez is solidifying her place as one of today’s most compelling voices in music.
