Sammy Virji returns with “I Guess We’re Not The Same,” a captivating garage track that blends soulful melodies with deep basslines.

After an unforgettable 2024, Sammy Virji returns with his latest single, “I Guess We’re Not The Same,” out now via Astralwerks.

The track builds on the momentum of his breakout year, beginning with an introspective vocal refrain before seamlessly transitioning into his signature UKG groove. The pulsating bassline and skippy drum patterns create a track that’s as soulful as it is club-ready. The song has already generated buzz, with Four Tet premiering it during his set on The Lot Radio in NYC.

Sammy Virji – I Guess We’re Not The Same

Virji’s rise has been nothing short of phenomenal. In 2024, he headlined sold-out tours across North America and the UK, delivered a career-defining set at Chase & Status’ Milton Keynes Bowl event, and played some of the biggest dance festivals, including Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Parklife. His Boiler Room debut in Denver alongside heavyweights like Nikki Nair and Hudson Mohawke further solidified his place in the underground dance scene.

Beyond the clubs, Virji’s music has made waves in pop culture, even sparking conversation on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. His collaborations with Interplanetary Criminal, Chris Lake, and Flowdan have showcased his versatility across garage, bass house, and grime-infused cuts.
