Future’s new video for “Lost My Dog” addresses substance abuse and loss. Learn about his partnership with D.A.R.E. America.

Future returns with the emotional music video for “Lost My Dog,” a standout track from his acclaimed album Mixtape Pluto. Directed by Henri Alexander Levy, the black-and-white visual shows a deeply personal side of Future as he mourns the loss of a close friend to a drug overdose. The performance is raw and heartfelt, matching the poignant lyrics that make this one of Future’s most impactful songs to date.

In conjunction with the release, Future is spotlighting D.A.R.E. America, an organization focused on substance abuse prevention. Through his Freewishes Foundation, Future is donating to support D.A.R.E.’s initiatives, with additional contributions from Epic Records. Fans are encouraged to join in by donating while watching the powerful video.

“Lost My Dog” is the sixth video from Mixtape Pluto, following visuals for “Too Fast,” “Teflon Don,” and “Ski.” Released last fall, Mixtape Pluto became Future’s 11th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, a groundbreaking achievement that also marked his third consecutive No. 1 album in 2024. This accomplishment solidified Future as the first solo artist in history to reach this milestone.

As Future heads into the 2025 GRAMMY® Awards with four nominations, including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song, “Lost My Dog” reinforces his ability to combine emotional storytelling with genre-defining artistry
