ABIR’s latest single “Butterflies” blends R&B, pop, and Moroccan influences to celebrate love’s vulnerability and thrill.

ABIR, the Moroccan-born singer-songwriter celebrated for her unique fusion of pop, R&B, and global influences, is back with her new single, “Butterflies.” Released via EMPIRE, the track explores the rush of new love, capturing both its excitement and its vulnerability through ABIR’s intricate vocal stylings and modern production.

“‘Butterflies’ is all about the thrill of new love and the excitement and vulnerability it brings,” ABIR explains. “It feels like the perfect way to open this next chapter, and I can’t wait to keep sharing this side of me.”

Known as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary music, ABIR first broke onto the scene with her RIAA gold-certified hit “Finest Hour” featuring Cash Cash. That success was followed by her debut EP, MINT, which was certified platinum by the RIAA and included standout tracks like “Tango” and “Young & Rude.” Together, her work has garnered over 500 million streams.

After her 2019 EP HEAT, which delved further into her Moroccan roots, “Butterflies” marks a powerful new chapter. ABIR continues to push the boundaries of pop music while celebrating her cultural heritage and redefining the role of Arab women in modern music.
