Patrick Luna releases his debut EP ‘+ Romántico Que Bélico,’ blending romance and regional Mexican music with personal storytelling.

Patrick Luna, the breakout Mexican artist, has released his debut EP, ‘+ Romántico Que Bélico,’ a deeply personal collection of songs now available on all streaming platforms. The EP offers a heartfelt exploration of romance and the beauty of authenticity, all while honoring the rich traditions of regional Mexican music.

With tracks like “Vulnerable,” Luna opens a window into his emotional world, singing, “porque soy vulnerable, puedes herirme, pero me quedaré” (I’m vulnerable, and you can hurt me, but I will stay). “Carrusel” delights with its bolero-inspired melody, while Luna’s rendition of Prince Royce’s “Corazón Sin Cara” adds a bright regional twist to the bachata hit. The EP balances themes of heartbreak in songs like “Me Cuesta Tanto” and “El Malo,” with lighter moments like “De Antes,” a lovesick pop-infused track that pairs modern rhythms with Luna’s signature style.

Reflecting on the project, Luna says: “‘+ Romántico Que Bélico’ was born from my desire to be faithful to my songwriting and the experiences I’ve lived. I don’t identify with the bélico (warlike) lifestyle; instead, I wanted to represent Mexico in a way that’s personal and true to my essence.”

With ‘+ Romántico Que Bélico,’ Patrick Luna introduces a body of work that reflects his natural romanticism and artistry, solidifying his place as a rising force in regional Mexican music.
