Josiah Queen collaborates with Brandon Lake on “Can’t Steal My Joy,” a song of hope and resilience. Out now via Capitol Records/CCMG.

Josiah Queen has teamed up with GRAMMY® winner Brandon Lake for the release of his inspiring new single, “Can’t Steal My Joy.” The track, released via Capitol Records/CCMG, was written by Queen, Lake, Hank Bentley, and Jacob Sooter, who also handled production. Its uplifting message reminds listeners of the enduring strength found in faith.

Reflecting on the song’s inspiration, Queen explains, “It says in the Bible ‘the joy of the Lord is our strength.’ A lot of times we read that verse and don’t think about the power we have in joy. All of my life, the enemy has tried to rob me of my joy, but he can’t have something he never gave me.”

The single arrives after Queen’s remarkable year, highlighted by the success of his debut album, The Prodigal. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, while the title track earned a spot on Spotify’s “Editors Picks: Best Songs of 2024.” With over 300 million combined streams, Queen’s impact on the Christian music landscape is undeniable.

Queen’s 2025 global headline tour kicks off in the U.K. on March 6, with more dates to follow. As he celebrates his 22nd birthday, Josiah Queen continues to inspire audiences worldwide with his authentic storytelling and passion for music.
