Maddie Riccardo’s “We’re Around” celebrates her parents, while “Band-Aid” explores the pain of letting go in a relationship.

Nashville-based artist Maddie Riccardo is making a name for herself with her heartfelt, storytelling-driven music. Her latest single, “We’re Around,” is a touching dedication to her parents, who have supported her throughout her journey. Maddie’s upcoming release, “Band-Aid,” is an emotional exploration of incompatible love and the difficulty of moving on.

Describing “Band-Aid,” Maddie explains, “‘Band-Aid’ is about two completely incompatible people that were trying to make it work. Just two people who are not supposed to be together, and then you just keep trying, and it’s just terrible. So you know you have to just rip off the Band-Aid and end it.”

Born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Maddie’s musical roots began in her family’s living room, inspired by her father’s guitar playing and iconic artists like Bruce Springsteen and Adele. By high school, she was balancing theater, cheerleading, and songwriting, paving the way for her future in music. After moving to Nashville for a Music Business degree at Belmont University, Maddie embraced the city’s vibrant music scene, performing at venues like Tin Roof and the Bluebird Café, where her parents watched her perform “We’re Around” live.

Maddie’s music combines sincerity, emotion, and storytelling, creating songs that resonate with audiences. Stream “We’re Around” today and look forward to the release of “Band-Aid” as she continues to share her journey.
