Adam Ten and Bontan bring their unique styles together on “Hey,” blending global rhythms and house grooves. Out now on Insomniac Records.
Tel Aviv’s Adam Ten and Liverpool’s Bontan have come together for their latest release, “Hey,” a percussive house anthem out now via Insomniac Records. The track reflects the perfect balance of their distinct artistic voices, delivering a rich and immersive listening experience.
“Hey” combines intricate djembe and shaker percussion with buzzing synth textures and a retro hip-hop hook sung in a West African dialect. This layered production captures the essence of tribal house while adding modern electronic elements, resulting in a track that feels both timeless and innovative.
Adam Ten, celebrated for his psychedelic and globally inspired approach, was named ‘One To Watch’ by Pete Tong in 2024. His impressive performance history includes appearances at Fabric London, The Brooklyn Mirage, and Burning Man. This year, he delivered his debut Essential Mix, further cementing his status as a rising star in house music.
Bontan, a staple of the UK house scene, continues to make waves with his distinct sound and accolades such as Radio 1’s ‘Future Star.’ With upcoming performances at Shelter Amsterdam and Space Miami, as well as his Essential Mix debut on November 30th, Bontan is a force to be reckoned with in electronic music.
Bontan says, “I feel that ‘Hey’ is a perfect blend of us, with a tribal groove. After hearing Adam live, I knew a fusion of our sounds would create something special.”
Fans can stream “Hey” now and experience this remarkable collaboration firsthand.
